Ok, it's a bit early to announce but the Axalp event of the swiss army is taking place from October 9. to 11. this year. I've been there for two times already and it's really awesome flight-action with all types of military airplanes. Some "freaks" I met there last time told me it's probably the most exciting air show out there in Europe or even the world.

I just put a marker in my calendar. The Axalp videos on youtube already look fascinating, must be even more amazing in reality.
not to mention the sound landscape - a jet passing by some 100 meters above your head is not exactly quiet (bring your oropax if you're sensitive.. ; )
