Flip flop season is on

As summertime is approaching the European Union launched a new directive on flip-flops security. For your convenience I have extracted and illustrated the two main regulations.

As can be seen in figure A, flip-flops may for security reasons only be worn with appropriately mounted socks. Grey is color of choice as sweat or other wet substance are indicated very fast by visual check. If unattended, flip-flops have to be secured in a sufficient way, indicated in figure B.
